We receive many inquiries about the process of shipping a kitten—people often wonder if it’s safe and how it works.Here’s how I explain the shipping process to help you feel at ease with bringing home a new kitten. Shipping a kitten is very safe! Here are the details:Your adorable kitten departs from the nearest airport to us and travels to your nearest airport. They enjoy a cozy, climate-controlled cabin area specially designated for pets in an airline-approved carrier. Before shipping, you’ll receive a flight number, arrival time, and a reference number to identify your kitten. We handle all the arrangements for you, and you can either pick up your kitten at the airport, just like welcoming a friend, or opt for home delivery—a choice many of our customers prefer for convenience. The shipping process is designed to be safe and stress-free for your new furry friend. Typically, you’ll receive your kitten within 5-6 hours on the same day, depending on your location. Kittens on planes are as safe as you or I flying! With over 14 years of experience in shipping pets, I always aim for direct, non-stop flights. My kittens arrive happy and relaxed, as reported by their new owners.

We utilize airlines to ship our kittens because it is the fastest and safest method, especially if you live far away or in another state. Each kitten is transported in a customized, airline-approved plastic pet kennel tailored to their size and the journey’s duration. They travel in a specially pressurized and climate-controlled compartment, separate from passenger luggage.Our shipping crates are prominently marked with colorful “LIVE ANIMALS” and “UP” stickers, ensuring they’re easily identifiable. We clearly label each crate with the destination airport, confirmation number, and your contact information. Before shipping, we spend time playing with the kittens in their crates so they feel comfortable. They’ve never shown fear of the crate! We also provide plenty of food and water in the shipping crate to keep them nourished and hydrated throughout the journey. This preparation ensures that, in the unlikely event a kitten becomes delayed at an airport overnight due to a connecting flight issue, they have enough to eat and drink. While traveling is generally easy for them, we strive to minimize transit time and always seek the shortest routes with direct flights whenever possible

We monitor weather conditions at the destination and only ship when we believe it is safe to do so. The health and well-being of our kittens are our top priorities, and we will not ship if we think weather conditions could pose a risk. We typically ship from Monday to Sunday, guaranteeing a safe and healthy arrival for your new kitten. If we feel that the weather is hazardous, we will postpone the shipment. Once they arrive at their new homes, kittens may take a day or two to adjust, but overwhelmingly, new owners report that their kittens step right out of the shipping crate and settle in as if they’ve always belonged.
